Will Riley, Allison Ray Crowned Homecoming King And Queen

FLORENCE, Ala. - William Evan Riley, of Tuscumbia, and Allison Ray, of Huntsville, were crowned the University of North Alabama's 2011 Homecoming King and Queen this evening. Riley, a junior integrated communications major, has served with several UNA student organizations, including the Student Government Association; SGA for UPC, for which he has served as vice president; the LaGrange Society; Alpha Tau Omega; the Student Conduct Board; and Once a Runner (O.A.R.). Ray, a senor sociology and international studies major, has served as a community advisor in UNA's LaGrange Hall, an advisor for the Student Multicultural Advisory Committee (SMAC), a LaGrange Society member, SGA secretary for international affairs, peer facilitator with K4L, and volunteer and supervisor for the Language Partner Program. Ray has also received a scholarship with the U.S. State Department Critical Language Program to study Arabic in the Middle East the past two summers. Other members of the 2011 UNA Homecoming Court include Thanh Bui, of Seattle, Wash.; Brandi Lewis, of Birmingham; Chelsea Murdock, of Muscle Shoals; Marshall Hess, of Miami, Fla.; Kelvin Jones, of Madison; Jennie Sun, of Jasper; Whitney Hargett, of Killen; and Chase Hoagland, of Tuscaloosa.
